Unfortunately, due to the poor weather and expected rain throughout the week, our Athletics Carnival has been postponed. A new date will be announced later in the week. The Bowral High School 2024 school athletics carnival will be conducted on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 May at Bowral HS. Thursday will be ½ day commencing period 3 with periods 1 & 2 normal school lessons. Students are permitted to wear Bowral High School uniform on Thursday and House colours on Friday. 🔵 Belmore (surname A-E) 🔴 Fitzroy (surname F-L) 🟡 Gibraltar (surname M-R 🟢 Hume (surname S-Z) In the event of wet weather students will be informed at school and information shared via School Bytes and Social Media. The canteen will be open during the recess and lunch breaks.

The Zone Cross Country will be conducted on Friday 17 May 2024 at Mulwaree HS. Students who have qualified have had their names posted on the PE Noticeboard outside F Block. Students will receive an online permission note after they have confirmed with Mr Davey their attendance. All students attending must travel to the event with the school however can be collected at the end of the event by parents who come to watch. An order of events will be given to students when they confirm attendance.

In 2024 Bowral High School is offering the annual Ski Trip to students from years 10 and 11. The total cost of the Ski Trip is estimated to be around $1200 (final price to be determined in early 2024) and includes all transport, accommodation, and food while at the snow (dinner on Tuesday and Friday nights while in transit is the student's responsibility), ski and safety equipment hire, as well as lift passes and lessons for 3 days. An approximate instalment plan for this activity is listed below. Deposit- $150 due by Term 4 Instalment 2- $350 due by 8 March Instalment 3- $350 due by 3 May Final payment- $350 due by 24 May Please be aware clothing, snowboarding and ski upgrades are an additional cost and are to be paid directly to the ALI staff at Bungarra Lodge. Students in Year 9 and 10 who would like to attend next year can express their interest at the Science Staffroom.
